Hopefully, you can see how well the stepped-rabbit matches up when the miters are cut.
The glass dado matches up as well. This is very important to the usability of the case.
You can get an idea of what the inside corner of the case looks like (i.e. stepped-rabbit.)
The roman-ogee profile matches up rather neatly. The frame clamp helps us hold it together.
We'll be putting a walnut trim piece (approximately 1" tall) on the outside back edge.
Though it's hard to see, the piece has an ogee profile. The plugs must be evenly spaced.
