Victory In Jesus
I [G]heard an old, old [G7]story, how a [C]Savior came from [G]glory;
How He [Em]gave His life on [G]Calvary, to [A]save a wretch like [Am]me.[D]
I [G]heard about His groan[G7]ing, of His [C]precious blood's a[G]toning.
Then [Em]I re - pent - [G]ed [G]of [A]my [G]sins [Em]and [C]won the [D]vic - to - [G]ry.[C G]
[CHORUS]
Oh [G]victory in Jesus, my [C]Savior, for[G]ever;
He [E]sought me and [G]bought me with His [A]redeeming [A]blood.[D]
He [G]loved me ere I knew [G7]Him, and all [C]my love is due [G]Him;
He [G]plunged me to [G]vic - [F]to - [E7]ry --- be - [A7]neath [E]the [D]cleansing [G]flood.
[VERSE 2]
I heard about His healing, of His cleansing power revealing;
How He made the lame to walk again, and caused the blind to see.
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit."
And somehow Jesus same and brought to me the victory.
[VERSE 3]
I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory;
And I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea.
About the angels singing, and the old redemption story;
And some sweet day I'll sing up the the song of victory.
